Environmental Consultant

Job Description

We're seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will conduct environmental assessments and develop sustainability strategies to support our clients in minimizing their ecological footprints. A strong understanding of local regulations and a passion for environmental protection are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental management plans and initiatives.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff and clients.
• Conduct research on emerging environmental trends and technologies.
• Assist clients in achieving their sustainability goals.
• Liaise with environmental agencies and government representatives.
• Provide expert advice on environmental risk management.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote environmental awareness.
• Evaluate clients’ projects to ensure minimal environmental impact.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Sustainability or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or sustainability roles
