Job Description

As a Cinematographer at Creative Productions, you will play a key role in crafting the visual narrative of our projects. Collaborating closely with the director, your technical expertise will be crucial in setting up camera equipment, lighting, and ensuring each shot aligns with the creative vision.

Responsibilities

• Develop camera positioning and shot-list planning with the director.
• Utilize various filming techniques and equipment, adapting to location demands.
• Supervise the daily operations of camera crew during shoots.
• Work with sound and lighting departments to enhance filming effectiveness.
• Assist in scouting locations to select optimum filming spots.
• Research and recommend new filming technologies and methods.
• Participate in production meetings to align on visual storytelling.
• Ensure continuity of visual elements throughout the project.
• Document and communicate filming processes for various projects.
• Adapt on-set to changing circumstances and creative fluctuations.

Requirements

Education

• Master's in Film Production or related field preferred
• Experience in a wide range of film formats and technology

Experience

• 5+ years in a cinematographer position within film or video industry.
