General and Operations Manager

Job Description

As a General and Operations Manager, you will oversee the operations of our water and sewer systems. Your role will involve supervising technicians, scheduling maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and liaising with various departments and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of water systems.
• Implement new systems and procedures for improved performance.
• Monitor and report performance of water systems, taking corrective measures when needed.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on upgrades and designs.
• Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental science is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in water and sewer system operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
