Job Description

We are looking for experienced Medical Equipment Repairers to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various medical equipment used in healthcare facilities across South Africa. A solid understanding of electromedical equipment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electromedical equipment, including patient monitors and defibrillators.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment according to specifications.
• Document maintenance and repairs thoroughly.
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment parts.
• Train clinical staff on equipment use and care procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Respond to service requests from healthcare facilities quickly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Electromechanical Technology
• Degree in Biomedical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in medical equipment maintenance

Technical Skills

• Diagnostic equipment software
