Job Description

We are seeking skilled Woodworking Machine Setters to operate advanced machinery in our Johannesburg facility. You will read blueprints, maintain equipment, and coordinate with team members to meet production goals effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust CNC routers, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
• Measure and cut wood materials accurately.
• Conduct quality checks on wood products post-production.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to optimize workflow.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate or Diploma in Woodworking or related field

Experience

• Experience in using various wood types and finishes

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with SolidWorks: Familiarity with CAD software for design purposes.
