Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring smooth operation of IT infrastructure. You will interact with staff, provide technical support, and assist in maintaining IT equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related incidents and service requests.
  • Conduct routine system checks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in maintaining cybersecurity protocols and data privacy.
  • Implement software updates and system upgrades to improve functionality.
  • Provide training to staff on new technology and systems.
  • Support remote workers by resolving IT issues and providing guidance.
  • Document processes and create knowledge base articles for future reference.
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of all IT equipment.
  • Support the IT team in evaluating new technologies for company use and improvement.
  • Engage in continuous learning to improve technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in IT Support or related field
  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years in a technical support role
