Job Description

We are seeking a talented AI Research Scientist to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you will drive AI research initiatives, develop algorithms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI solutions that enhance our products and services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cutting-edge AI algorithms for various applications.
• Engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration to enhance product offerings.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of AI solutions post-implementation.
• Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist in securing funding for AI research initiatives through proposals.
• Prepare and present research results to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Machine Learning or AI-related field
• PhD in relevant field is highly regarded

• 5+ years of experience in applied AI research
