Job Description

We are on the lookout for a knowledgeable Machine Learning Engineer to contribute to our projects in Johannesburg. As part of our team, you will engage in the full machine learning lifecycle from data preprocessing to deploying models. An ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities and a passion for AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Utilize key machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Prepare datasets by cleaning, structuring, and transforming data for model training.
• Present findings and recommendations to non-technical team members.
• Implement software engineering best practices to ensure code quality.
• Engage in peer code reviews and contribute to collaborative solving of challenges.
• Interface with other departments to integrate machine learning solutions across the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
• Master's degree is an asset

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience in AI/Machine Learning roles
