Inventory Specialist Manager

Job Description

The Inventory Specialist Manager is responsible for overseeing the inventory management system to ensure efficient and accurate tracking of inventory levels. The manager will implement and improve inventory control procedures to meet customer demand and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the inventory management system.
• Train and manage the inventory control team to ensure effective operations.
• Maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demand.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in inventory.
• Implement best practices in inventory control and continuously improve processes.
• Collaborate with procurement to optimize inventory purchasing.
• Prepare and present inventory reports to senior management.
• Address and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Leverage technology and software for enhanced inventory tracking.
• Build relationships with key suppliers for better inventory management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional certification in inventory management is a plus

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in inventory management or related field

Technical Skills

• Lean Six Sigma
• Data Analysis Tools

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with automated inventory systems: Experience with automated systems for more efficient inventory tracking.
