We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, with expertise in both front-end and back-end frameworks. You will play a key role in designing, coding, and maintaining software applications to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development projects from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.
• Design architecture for new features while maintaining the integrity of existing applications.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and testing practices.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize load times.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in developing web applications and services

Technical Skills

• TypeScript

Certifications

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Microservices architecture: Knowledge of designing and building scalable microservices.
• Familiarity with GraphQL: Experience using GraphQL for API development is a plus.
