IT Support Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a competent IT Support Technician to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. You will be responsible for managing and resolving technical issues, providing user support, and assisting with network administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of network infrastructure.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users on new software or systems.
• Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Perform regular backups and data recovery as needed.
• Provide support for mobile devices and applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT support roles

Technical Skills

• Mac OS
• ITIL Framework

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
