Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Economics Teachers focusing on Agricultural Economics for both undergraduate and graduate courses. Candidates should have a robust understanding of economic principles applied to agriculture and natural resources, coupled with a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and instruct diverse courses in Agricultural Economics for various levels.
  • Lead applied research projects aimed at addressing real-world agricultural challenges.
  • Foster student engagement through mentorship and career advising.
  • Contribute to the department’s academic goals through various service commitments.
  • Publish influential research in respected journals and engage at conferences.
  • Utilize quantitative analysis and statistical tools in research projects.
  • Coordinate with industry representatives regarding research collaborations.
  • Engage students in outreach efforts that promote understanding of agricultural economics.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Economics or closely related field
Experience
  • 5+ years teaching and research experience in agricultural or natural resource economics.
