Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal care and hygiene tasks.
• Prepare meals while considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, enhancing overall client well-being.
• Assist with medication management and monitor health changes.
• Keep clients' living environment tidy and organized.
• Document care provided and report significant changes to the care team.
• Support clients with mobility and help them participate in physical activities.
• Accompany clients to appointments and community outings.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Higher certificate in Health and Social Care is advantageous.

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or caregiving roles preferred.

Technical Skills

• Medication Management

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Basic Life Support certification
• Home Health Aide Certification is preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
