Job Description

As a Mash Tub Cooker Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the mash tub cooker to produce high-quality cooked mashes essential for brewing. You will play a vital role in the brewing process, ensuring that operations are efficient and consistent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the mashing process to ensure compliance with recipes.
• Perform quality checks on mashes to ensure consistency.
• Implement safety measures to prevent equipment malfunctions.
• Train new operators on efficient mash tub operations.
• Engage with the quality control team to adjust recipes as needed.
• Participate in regular maintenance schedules for brewing equipment.
• Assist in the development of new mash recipes.
• Document any issues and resolutions during production runs.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements for the brewing process.
• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training or certification in brewing

Experience

• Experience in a brewing or food processing environment is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with industrial control systems
