Responsibilities

• Conduct research on urban planning issues affecting the community.
• Prepare comprehensive urban planning documents and reports.
• Represent the firm at community and government meetings.
• Support the development of environmentally sustainable initiatives.
• Facilitate community workshops to discuss planning proposals.
• Collaborate with GIS specialists for area analysis.
• Create visuals and presentations to communicate plans effectively.
• Review and recommend changes to existing zoning laws.
• Engage in team collaboration with other planning professionals.
• Foster partnerships with various organizations for community benefit.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Town Planning or relevant discipline
• Master's in Urban Planning or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of professional urban planning experience
