Job Description

In this role, you will monitor and evaluate a company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while providing valuable insights into operational improvements. You will be responsible for developing audit plans, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with management to strengthen financial controls and reporting accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits and review financial results for accuracy.
• Conduct interviews and meetings with stakeholders during audits.
• Evaluate company's adherence to financial policies and procedures.
• Assist with the accountability of financial transactions.
• Implement audit findings and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of audit findings and documentation.
• Build relationships with clients and management for better engagement.
• Support continuous improvement of audit processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in auditing

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to speak Afrikaans: Bilingual capability to aid in client communication and reporting.
