We are looking for a passionate Research Scientist to conduct impactful research and analysis in our Durban facility. The position requires a creative and analytical mindset, with the ability to produce high-quality research outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead research projects from inception to completion while adhering to deadlines.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary research efforts and contribute to grant applications.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Establish partnerships with external organizations for collaborative research.
• Add to the company's research repository through proper documentation and reporting.
• Assist in the training of new laboratory staff on protocols and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Biotechnology)
• PhD is considered an asset

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a research environment with published papers
