HVAC Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are searching for a skilled HVAC Systems Engineer to join our Pretoria team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, analyzing, and implementing HVAC systems as well as a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of HVAC systems for commercial and residential projects.
• Prepare and present technical reports evaluating system designs and efficiencies.
• Ensure all HVAC systems meet stringent industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members to foster creativity in design and implementation.
• Assist in the selection of appropriate equipment and technology for projects.
• Conduct site visits to assess installation and performance of HVAC systems.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 7+ years of relevant experience in HVAC system design and engineering

• Revit
• Energy Efficiency Analysis
• Cost Estimation

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
• HVAC Excellence Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
