We are seeking an innovative Aerospace Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in aerospace design, analysis, and manufacturing processes. With an emphasis on safety and reliability, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing aerospace systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and ensure quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize simulation software to test aircraft designs under various conditions.
• Support production processes to resolve technical issues.
• Document engineering processes and maintain project records.
• Evaluate and select materials suitable for aerospace applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• CAD Software

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Aerospace Technician
• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Exposure to UAV Design: Experience in the design and development of unmanned aerial vehicles.
• Knowledge of Propulsion Systems: Familiarity with aircraft propulsion mechanics.
