Job Description

We are seeking an Aerospace Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing aerospace systems and components. You will work closely with other engineers to enhance our product line, focusing on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects for new aerospace systems.
• Perform finite element analysis (FEA) on structural components.
• Work with manufacturing teams to resolve production issues.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies for compliance.
• Develop and present proposals for engineering projects.
• Conduct root cause analysis on system failures.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings.
• Develop testing protocols and methodologies.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines.
• Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar
• Master's degree is preferable

Experience

• 5 years of relevant experience in aerospace sector

• Project Management Software
