Responsibilities

• Create innovative architectural designs that meet client requirements.
• Conduct detailed analysis and design evaluations to optimize solutions.
• Oversee the architectural development process, from conception to project completion.
• Research and incorporate sustainable materials and practices into designs.
• Maintain relationships with clients and manage client expectations.
• Facilitate presentations to stakeholders regarding project updates and design progress.
• Work closely with the landscape and urban planners to incorporate context into designs.
• Manage and adjust project scopes, ensuring all changes align with client goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp
• Sustainable Design

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Project Management

Certifications

• Green Building Council Certification
• Registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in urban design: Experience working on urban planning and regeneration projects.
• Proficiency in Landscape Architecture: Strong understanding of integrating landscape with architectural design.
