Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Rustenburg team. In this role, you will develop and execute engineering projects that enhance operational efficiency while maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop new engineering solutions and improve existing designs.
• Analyze the performance of mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance project outcomes.
• Draft, review, and approve specifications and technical documentation.
• Conduct research to inform system design and lifecycle management.
• Oversee manufacturing and installation of engineering projects.
• Prepare detailed project schedules and budgets.
• Implement feedback into future designs.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Contribute to the development of innovation strategies in engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
