Civil Engineer

Job Description

Engineering Solutions Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to manage and execute construction projects in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles and practices, along with excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for civil engineering projects from concept through to completion.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
• Work with contractors to ensure projects meet specifications and are completed on time.
• Provide engineering support during project execution.
• Document project processes, challenges, and outcomes.
• Implement health and safety guidelines within all engineering processes.
• Coordinate inspections and tests to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Actively participate in project meetings and discussions.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience

• 6+ years of relevant experience

Languages

• English: Fluent
