Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee our operations in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for streamlining processes, managing supply chain logistics, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and products. This role requires strong leadership and analytical skills, along with experience in logistics management.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Create and manage logistics schedules in line with operational demands.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology and software to enhance logistics operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Coordinate logistics operations with sales and production departments.
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding logistics performance and budgets.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on logistics practices and safety procedures.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement cost-reduction strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Master's degree preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics management
