Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing chemical processes to improve efficiency and sustainability in our product lines. Candidates should have a robust understanding of chemical engineering principles and experience in process design.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Manage projects related to sustainable resource management.
• Engage with stakeholders and present project findings.
• Analyze data to assess environmental risks.
• Assist in the development and implementation of environmental management systems.
• Conduct site visits to monitor compliance and environmental impact.
• Coordinate with local authorities for regulatory approvals.
• Evaluate the feasibility of environmental solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Science is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental engineering or similar role
