Job Description

Seeking a proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our warehouse operations in Durban. The ideal candidate will coordinate logistics, manage staff, and ensure the efficient flow of goods. You will be pivotal in enhancing productivity and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse activities and ensure timely processing of orders.
• Manage warehouse layout for optimal space utilization.
• Ensure proper training of all warehouse staff and promote a culture of safety.
• Monitor and improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
• Facilitate communication between warehouse and other departments.
• Implement inventory accuracy checks and audits.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting needs for the warehouse.
• Promote a positive work environment and improve staff morale.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
• MBA or equivalent is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience managing warehouse operations

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
