Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter

Job Description

We are looking for a Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter to efficiently operate and maintain our debeading machine. The ideal candidate will ensure tire casings are prepared for retreading while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Remove beads from tire casings using the debeading machine.
• Inspect tire casings for quality assurance.
• Sort casings by size and condition for efficient processing.
• Follow safety protocols at all times during operation.
• Keep the workspace organised and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Communicate any issues with machinery to the supervisor.
• Keep an inventory of necessary tools and supplies.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation.
• Participate in health and safety meetings.

• Experience with quality control tools: Familiarity with tools used for assessing the quality of tire casings.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance: Capable of performing routine checks and maintenance on the debeading machine.
