Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Writer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear and engaging technical documentation for our products. You will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to interpret complex technical information and present it in an accessible manner. You will ensure consistency and accuracy in all documents while adhering to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and publish content for a variety of technical documents.
• Work with engineers and product managers to understand product features.
• Conduct research on topics relevant to product functionality.
• Develop templates for standardized documentation.
• Ensure adherence to company style guides and standards.
• Assist in implementing documentation management systems.
• Gather feedback from users to refine and enhance documentation.
• Train team members on documentation tools and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Technical Communication or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a technical writing role with a strong portfolio.
