Job Description

As a Hearing-Aid Assembly Supervisor, you will lead a team of assemblers in producing high-quality hearing aids. You will ensure that production targets are met, while maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards. Your role will also involve liaising with other departments to enhance production efficiency and resolve any issues that arise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the assembly line to meet production schedules.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Coordinate with supply chain to manage materials for production.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives to address bottlenecks and delays.
  • Ensure proper documentation of processes and compliance checks.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team.
  • Organize regular team meetings to discuss goals and performance.
  • Continuously assess production techniques for improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment focused on excellence.
  • Act as a liaison between management and the assembly team.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, production management) is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in medical device manufacturing is advantageous.
