Job Description

As a Hand Method Lasting Machine Operator, you will be critical in shaping the future of footwear manufacturing. This role involves operating and maintaining hand lasting machines to attach the upper portions of shoes to lasts, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Control the hand method lasting machine to ensure accurate shoe lasting.
  • Inspect materials for defects and report quality issues.
  • Clean and maintain the machine to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work efficiently to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues.
  • Assist in other shoemaking processes when required.
  • Manage time effectively to meet daily production goals.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various roles within the production team.
  • Maintain an inventory of materials needed for the production process.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification in machine operation is preferred.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

  • Good manual dexterity

Languages
