Job Description

As a Mixing and Blending Machine Setter, you will be responsible for blending various powders and pigments to create tracer powders. The role includes ensuring quality and consistency through testing and optimising equipment for smooth operation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix raw materials based on set formulas.
• Conduct regular quality assurance tests on mixed products.
• Operate blending machinery and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols in the workplace.
• Keep accurate records of batch production and quality control.
• Assist in stocktaking and managing supplies.
• Engage in training sessions for skill enhancement.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical diploma or certification is preferred.

Experience

• At least 2-3 years experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Safety regulations knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent
