Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Cape Town office. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing monthly financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insights to improve financial performance. Strong communication skills and proficiency with accounting software are essential.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage general ledger entries.
• Compile and analyze financial data to improve decision-making.
• Prepare quarterly VAT submissions and compliance.
• Collaborate with team members on financial strategies.
• Present financial reports to management.
• Ensure all financial practices adhere to legal guidelines.
• Assist in developing affordable solutions for clients.
• Provide support during financial audits and reviews.
• Maintain records of invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile AR and AP balances regularly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• CA(SA) qualification preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
