Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite insurance policies by analyzing risks associated with applicants.
• Utilize underwriting software and tools to assist in decision-making.
• Communicate with clients and brokers to gather information required for underwriting.
• Review and analyze insurance claims to determine validity and assess exposure.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance underwriting knowledge.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and agents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field
• Higher diploma in Insurance or Risk Management is an advantage

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in the insurance field, preferably in underwriting
