Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Civil Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and managing civil engineering projects, focusing on infrastructure development, construction processes, and sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction progress and performance, adjusting plans as needed to achieve project goals.
• Assess the impact of civil projects on the environment and initiate mitigation measures as necessary.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns to foster team growth and development.
• Utilize CAD software to prepare and present project designs.
• Collaborate with health and safety officers to implement site safety measures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management
