Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architecture Designer to join our creative team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for architectural design and demonstrate proficiency in various design software. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing design plans that meet client specifications and promote sustainable practices. The role involves collaborating closely with engineers, urban planners, and clients to create innovative solutions that enhance the built environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed architectural plans and designs that adhere to client requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the feasibility of designs.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design integrity.
• Prepare presentation materials for clients showcasing concepts and designs.
• Research and integrate sustainable building practices into designs.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining deadlines and quality.
• Evaluate and provide solutions for design challenges encountered during construction.
• Assist in the selection of materials and finishes to enhance project aesthetics.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Design-related field
• Master's degree in Architecture is preferable

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in the field of architecture

Technical Skills

• 3D Rendering Software
• Building Codes Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Problem Solving

Certifications

• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) (advantageous)
• AutoCAD Certified Professional (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
