We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, analyzing, and supporting various structures, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and simulations of structural designs.
• Conduct feasibility studies for potential projects.
• Oversee material selection and quality specifications.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies for permits and approvals.
• Lead project meetings to discuss design challenges and solutions.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines throughout project execution.
• Evaluate and recommend new engineering technologies and strategies.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in emergency response planning for structural failures.
• Document all project phases and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in structural project design and management

Technical Skills

• Revit
• SAP2000

Certifications

• Certified Structural Engineer (C.Struct.E)

Languages

• English: Fluent
