Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Technician in Johannesburg who will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems. You will work closely with our clients to deliver excellent service and ensure that all IT systems are functioning smoothly. Ideal candidates should enjoy problem-solving and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, and in person regarding technology issues.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures to protect company data.
  • Provide remote support to users when necessary.
  • Assist with backup and recovery of server information.
  • Maintain logs of all IT requests and follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and tools.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
Experience
  • 3+ years in IT support roles, with a focus on customer service
