We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Worker to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will interact with children, providing supervision, emotional support, and educational activities that foster their growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children.
• Encourage creative expression through play and activities.
• Provide consistent discipline and feedback to children.
• Coordinate with parents and guardians regarding children’s needs.
• Stay updated on child development theories and practices.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to children's files.
• Promote inclusivity and diversity within the childcare environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Childcare or Early Childhood Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in childcare or teaching

Technical Skills

• Behavior Management Techniques
• Creative Activity Planning

Soft Skills

• Patience
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Child Development Associate (CDA)
• Nutrition and Health Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
