We are on the lookout for a qualified Mining Engineer to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing mining plans, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing production processes. Your expertise will be critical in enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.

Responsibilities

• Review geological data and mining models to enhance extraction efficiency.
• Assist in the implementation of sustainable mining practices.
• Track budget expenditures and report deviations.
• Provide technical expertise during mining operations.
• Identify training needs and facilitate skill development for staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree in Mining Engineering is preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant mining engineering experience

Certifications

• Certified Mining Professional
