We are searching for a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our Durban team. Your role will encompass managing medication therapies, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. You will play a critical part in providing top-notch pharmaceutical services to our diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient medication needs and recommend appropriate therapeutic alternatives.
• Advise on medication storage and safety protocols.
• Conduct clinical reviews of medications for appropriateness and effectiveness.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers regarding medication management.
• Develop and implement patient education resources regarding medication therapy.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical product updates and innovations.
• Provide support in the pharmacy's operational activities and customer service.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Additional specialization in clinical pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in a clinical or retail pharmacy setting

• Medication Therapy Management
• Drug Utilization Review

Certifications

• Clinical Pharmacology Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
