Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Durban, focusing on building robust cloud infrastructure and streamlining continuous integration and deployment processes. You will collaborate with developers and IT operations to enhance system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage cloud-based applications and services.
• Ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure.
• Automate routine tasks to reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams in release planning.
• Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies.
• Assist in incident response and resolution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency.
• Create and maintain system documentation and user manuals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) are a plus

Experience

• 4+ years in a DevOps or systems engineering role
