Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Store Assistant Manager to lead our Cape Town retail store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to enhancing the customer experience. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of service.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in leading daily operations.
  • Promote a positive shopping experience through exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee inventory management and stock control.
  • Assist in sales tracking and reporting.
  • Participate in staff training programs.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising efforts.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Encourage teamwork and a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in Business Management is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years in retail, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
