We are seeking skilled Carpet Installers to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various types of carpets and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install flooring materials according to project specifications.
• Prepare and level subfloors to ensure proper installation.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations during installation.
• Train new hires on installation techniques and standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Assist in estimating costs and managing project timelines.
• Develop rapport with clients to foster long-term relationships.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in flooring installation preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of practical experience in carpet installation

Technical Skills

• Carpet installation techniques
• Maintenance skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Customer service

Certifications

• First Aid certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with floor refinishing: Background in floor refinishing and sanding techniques is a bonus.
