• Conduct detailed risk assessments for new and existing policies.
• Provide recommendations on accepting or declining applications.
• Facilitate communication between agents and clients regarding policy changes.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and legal standards.
• Participate in team meetings to strategize risk management approaches.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of proven experience in insurance underwriting

• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI)
• Associate in Risk Management (ARM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in an African language: Additional language proficiency can improve communication with clients.
