Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth tax planning for corporate and individual clients.
• Assist with the implementation of tax compliance programs.
• Review final tax returns and ensure accuracy before submission.
• Prepare presentations for tax strategies and regulatory updates.
• Liaise with tax authorities as required.
• Provide training on tax legislation for client staff.
• Track and report on tax liabilities and forecasts.
• Support clients during any tax-related audits or enquiries.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Related Field
• Master's degree in Taxation or Finance is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Tax Software Proficiency
• Regulatory Compliance

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Project Management

Certifications

• SAIT - South African Institute of Taxation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of tax incentive programs: Understanding of tax relief measures and incentive programs available to clients.
