Responsibilities

• Carry out dental hygiene treatments with precision and care.
• Document patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients about preventive care techniques.
• Support the dental team during treatment plans.
• Monitor patients’ oral health and identify concerns.
• Maintain clinic inventory and equipment.
• Promote the practice through community outreach and education.
• Participate in continuous professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Dental Hygiene
• Certification in Oral Health Education is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in clinical dental hygiene settings

• Oral Assessment Skills
• Infection Control Knowledge

Certifications

• Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate
