Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnosing and treating a wide range of animal conditions and is passionate about providing the best care for our furry patients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage caseload effectively and prioritize urgent cases.
  • Perform dental cleanings and procedures as needed.
  • Develop treatment plans tailored to individual animal needs.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and clients.
  • Support the training and development of junior veterinary staff.
  • Advocate for the ethical treatment of all animals.
  • Engage in surgical procedures such as spaying and neutering.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc)
  • Additional postgraduate qualifications in veterinary medicine are beneficial
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of veterinary experience preferred
