Job Description

As a Civil Engineer in our Pretoria office, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects. The role demands a detail-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve project goals while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution phases of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations and analyses to support project designs.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant local and national regulations.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders.
• Utilize software tools for modeling and simulations to enhance project outcomes.
• Assist in mentoring junior engineers and interns in civil engineering principles.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies for necessary project approvals.
• Conduct feasibility studies for upcoming projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Registration with ECSA is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant civil engineering experience
