Job Description

Looking for a dentist to become part of our Port Elizabeth practice. You will handle a variety of dental procedures and have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our patients' lives through preventative care and oral health education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oral examinations and develop treatment plans.
• Administer anaesthesia and perform various dental procedures.
• Ensure a high standard of patient care and comfort.
• Work closely with staff to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Participate in community outreach programs for dental health awareness.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior dental staff.
• Document treatment procedures and patient progress accurately.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
• Postgraduate diploma in Oral Medicine or similar is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Oral Surgery
• Radiology

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Fluent in multiple languages: Ability to communicate in multiple languages to cater to diverse patients.
• Experience in community health outreach: Involvement in community health programs to improve oral health awareness.
