Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Periodontist to join our growing practice in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating periodontal diseases, as well as performing surgical procedures related to gum health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and develop personalized treatment strategies.
• Utilize advanced dental technologies and methodologies in treatment.
• Provide exceptional patient care, with a focus on comfort and satisfaction.
• Participate in professional development and team training.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff regarding treatment options.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote oral health.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent
• Specialization in Periodontics is required

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in periodontics

Technical Skills

• Periodontal surgery techniques
• Patient communication

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
• CPR certified

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
